Description
KINGS of PERSIS; Napad (Kapat). 1st century AD. AR Drachm (3.29 gm; 18 mm). Bearded bust left, wearing diadem and Parthian-style tiara decorated with crescent; pellet border / Bearded bust left, wearing diadem; blundered legend, Sunrise 635var. Obv. Crown similiar to Sunrise 590 with a cresent inside helmet. Mule. Much earlier piece. Struck from high relief dies. Choice EF. Original find patina. Extremely rare. Perhaps unpublished.
