Description
KINGS of PERSIS. Vahsir (Oxathres) I. 1st century BC.-1st Century AD. AR Drachm (3.80 gm; 19 mm). Bearded bust left, wearing diadem with three ties and torque with four segments; crescent(?) before / Vahsir standing left, holding scepter and sacrificing before altar to left; blundered legend. K&M -; Alram 579; Tyler-Smith -; Sunrise 602. Well struck on a nice full flan. Choice Good VF. Nice original find patina.
