Parthian Kingdom. Mithradates II. 121-91 B.C. AR drachm (20 mm, 3.88 g, 12 h). Rhagai. Diademed and draped bust of Mithradates II left, wearing tiara decorated with triple border of dots and star / Archer seated right on omphalos, holding bow. Sellwood 28.1; Shore 94-5. Lightly toned. Just a hint of porosity on obverse. Extremely fine.

Sellwood's issue 28 is noted for being the first series of coins to depict the ruler wearing the Parthian tiara.
