KINGS of PARTHIA. Orodes II. 57-38 BC. AR Drachm (3.60 gm; 18 mm). Ekbatana mint. Diademed and draped bust left / Archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow; monogram below bow. Mithradatkart. Diademed and draped bust of Orodes II left. Reverse: Archer seated right on throne, holding bow; below bow, monogram. Sellwood 45.14; Shore 225; Sunrise 361. Minor flan marks on reverse at 6, otherwise well struck. Lovely style. Excellent metal. Choice FDC. Fully lustrous.
