HUNNIC TRIBES, Hephthalites. (579-590 AD). AR Drachm (2.99 gm; 31 mm). Imitating a drachm of Hormizd IV (579-590). Uncertain mint in Bactria, after AD 589. The imitated mint abbreviation is Bahl (Balkh), year is 11 but most liklely is 13 which is the last year of reign of Hormizd IV with two counter marks on the obverse including a human head and one counter mark on the reverse. Choice Fine / Very Fine. Lightly toned.
