TABERISTAN, SULAYMAN (Ibn Musa). 787-789 AD. AR Hemidrachm (1.74 gm; 23 mm). Facing forward portrait with face of the portrait replaced with geometric shape of lozenge (Diamond) and phrase "Bakh" in Kufic (Wonderful and admired) within it Reverse, fire altar with attendants, mint TPURSTAN (Tabaristan) on the right, date: 137 to the left. Choice FDC. Lightly toned with some luster.
