PERSIAN OCCUPATION of EGYPT. Circa 618-628 AD. Æ Unit (5.03 gm; 17 mm). Byzantine style obverse showing ruler and his successor with a wartime crown/helmet, cross on top of the helmets, reverse "I" on the left and "B" on the right side of cross - Possible orbed cross- and name "AlZ" for Alexandria below cross. MIB 202a,b; Sear 853. Brown patina. Choice VF. Rare in any condition.
