Description
PERSIA, QAJAR, Muhammad Hasan Khan. (AH 1163-1172/ 1750-1759 AD). AR Rupee (11.52 gm; 23 mm). Mashhad mint. Obverse, Shia Shahadah, reverse, Ya Ali Ibn Musa al-Reza. Extremely rare example as it is a combination of Type C and B in Album, A2828 but combination, not in Rabino or Farahbaksh. Choice EF. Lightly toned.
