TABERISTAN, Abbasid Governors. Sulayman ibn Musa, (787-789 AD). AR Hemidrachm (1.80 gm; 22 mm). Obverse, lozenge geometric as face of the figure facing forward, phrase “Bakh” (Wonderful and Admired) at the center of lozenge, reverse, fire altar with attendants, mint TPURISTAN on the right year 137 on the left. Choice FDC. Lustrous. Lightly toned.
