SICILY; Syracuse. Hireon II. 240-215 BC. Æ Litra (6.31 gm; 19 mm). Struck circa 263-218 BC. Diademed head of Poseidon left / Ornate trident head flanked by two dolphins; uncertain control to right. BAR Issue 60; CNS 194; cf. SNG ANS 964-1015. Brown reddish patina. Choice EF. Lovely example for the issue.
