Description
YABGHUS of BAKTRIA. 6th/7th century. AR Drachm (4.05 gm; 30 mm). Sasanian style bust right, wearing winged crown topped by a bull's head, Psuedo Pahlavi legends in front of face, reverse standard fire-altar & attendants psuedo Pahlavi legends in place of mint and date. SG-265. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Fully centered. Choice EF. Nice original cabinet toning.
