Lot 388.  Vespasian. A.D. 69-79. AR denarius (17 mm, 2.94 g, 6 h). Judaea Capta issue. Rome, A.D. 69/70. IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG, laureate head of Vespasian right / IVDAEA in exergue, Jewess seated right, head resting on hand in attitude of mourning; behind, trophy. RIC 2; Hendin 1479; BMC 35; RSC 226. Well centered with complete legends. Toned. Nearly very fine.
