Lot 421.  Marcus Aurelius. As Caesar, A.D. 139-161. AR denarius (18 mm, 3.32 g, 7 h). Rome, under Antoninus Pius, A.D. 140-144. AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG PII F COS, bare head of Marcus Aurelius right / IVVEN-TAS, Iuvventas standing left, dropping a grain of incense on a candelabrum and holding patera. RIC 423. Lightly toned. Very fine.
