Dandrow, ""The Latin coins of Caracalla from Edessa,"" NC (2016), p. 198, note 18, documents the two previously known examples of this extremely rare and interesting coin: one specimen in the Bibliothèque Nationale, M 5509, the other ex MMAG 20, 959. Our coin is struck from the same dies as both examples.
