M SCAVR / AED CVR in two lines above, [REX ARETAS] in exergue, [E]X S [C] across field, the Nabatean king, Aretas, kneeling right beside camel standing right, holding reins and presenting olive branch / [P] HVPSAE / AED CVR in two lines above, [CAPTV] on right, C HVPSAE COS / PREIVER in two lines in exergue, Jupiter driving galloping quadriga left, holding reins and preparing to hurl thunderbolt; below horse's legs, scorpion right.
