| | Lot 239. A fine Nazca polychrome bowl from Peru, c. 400 – 600 AD. It is 5-1/2” in diameter and is decorated with a series of triangular trophy heads, which in this example appear suspended. In excellent condition, nice colors, good mineral deposits and just minor pitting. Cf. Kroeber ”Archaeology of Nazca, Peru”, page 103, for similar example. Ex Espinoza estate.
