Lot 26. SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Seleukos I Nikator, sole reign. 312-294 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26mm - 17.22 g). Seleukeia on the Tigris mint. Struck circa 300-281 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / Zeus seated left, holding eagle in right hand, scepter in left; monogram before and below throne. SC 117.1c; ESM 4; SNG Spaer 110. Good VF, some minor roughness on the obverse. Estimate: US$ 300
