Macedonian Kingdom. Kassander. 316-297 B.C. Æ 1/2 unit (15 mm, 2.63 g, 9 h). Pella or Amphipolis. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΚΑΣΣΑΝΔΡΟΥ, lion prowling left, breaking javelin held in jaws; above, star. Cf. SNG Alpha Bank 937-41. Dark green patina with some rough red areas. Good very fine.
