Koinon of Macedonia. Pseudo-autonomous issue. 3rd century A.D. Æ (25 mm, 10.41 g, 1 h). ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟC, head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / K[OINΩN MAK]ЄΔ-ONΩ-N B NЄΩKO/PΩN, statue of the emperor, holding spear and parazonium, atop column between two tetrastyle temples. Cf. AMNG III 762a. Dark grey-brown patina, light porosity. Very fine.
