Geta. As Caesar, A.D. 198-209. AR denarius (19 mm, 3.58 g, 12 h). Rome, under Septimius Severus and Caracalla, A.D. 200-205. P SEPT GETA CAES PONT, bare-headed and draped bust of Geta right / PR-INC IV-VENTV-TIS, prince in military attire standing facing, head left, holding baton and scepter; behind him, trophy. RIC 18; BMC 234; RSC 157b. Lightly toned with deposits remaining, minor porosity. Very fine.
