Gordian III. A.D. 238-244. Æ sestertius (30 mm, 14.98 g, 11 h). Rome, A.D. 239/40. IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III right / AEQVITAS AVG, S C across field, Aequitas standing facing, head left, holding scales and cornucopiae. RIC 286a. Nice green patina with a few light deposits. Good very fine.
