Thrace, Cherronesos. Ca. 386-338 B.C. AR hemidrachm (12 mm, 2.39 g). Forepart of lion right, head turned to look back / Quadripartite incuse square with alternating raised and sunken quarters; pellet - AΓ monogram in one sunken quarter, pruning knife in the other. McClean 4061-4; SNG Tübingen 919; SNG von Post 77. Lightly toned. Extremely fine.
