Volusian. A.D. 251-253. AR antoninianus (22 mm, 4.94 g, 1 h). Antioch. IMP C VA F GAL VEND VOLVSIANO AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Volusian right; below, four pellets / ROMAE AETERNAE AVG, Roma seated left on round shield, holding Victory on globe and spear; in exergue, four pellets. Cf. RIC 234a (officina); RSC -. Lustrous and well centered, partially toned. Extremely fine.
