Lot 216.  EGYPT, Ptolemaic Kingdom. Ptolemy IV Philopator, 221-205 BC. AR Tetradrachm (13.20 gm). Jugate busts of Serapis and Isis / Eagle standing on thunderbolt holding cornucopia. SNG.Cop.197. Toned VF+, spot of porosity. Rare. This interesting coin was struck to commemorate the victory over the Seleukids at the battle of Raphia.
