Iron Scramasax Knife. Vikings and Northern Europe, 700-1000 AD. Iron scramasax-style utility knife with angled back, straight single edge and long tang with flared end. A wood grip would be fitted over the tang to make the handle. 8 overall. Minor pitting, but choice for early ironwork. Stabilized brown patina. The famous knife of the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings.
