ROMAN EMPIRE. Maximinus I. AD. 235-238. AR Denarius (2.94 gm; 20 mm). Struck 235 AD. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Emperor standing front, head left, between two standards, raising right hand and holding long sceptre. RIC IV 3; BMCRE 77; RSC 55. Sharply struck on a nice broad flan. Choice AU. Fully lustrous.
