ROMAN EMPIRE. Hadrian. (117-138 AD). AR Denarius (3.20 gm; 19 mm). Rome, struck ca. AD. 132-134. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, laureate bust right, draped left shoulder / COS III, modius with poppy and six grain ears. cf. RIC 197, RSC 470. Minor roughness on the field, otherwise well struck on a nice flan. Choice aEF. Lightly toned.
