ROMAN EMPIRE. Gordian III. (238-244 AD). AR Antoninianus (4.53 gm; 22 mm), Rome. Obv. IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust to right, seen from behind. Rev. LIBERALITAS AVG III, Liberalitas standing front, head turned left, holding abacus and cornucopiae. RIC 67; RSC 142. Sharply struck on a nice broad flan. Choice FDC. Lustrous. Lightly toned.
