ROMAN EMPIRE. Caracalla. 198-217 AD. AR Heavy Antoninianus (5.46 gm; 25 mm). Struck in Rome, 215 AD. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front / Jupiter standing right, holding thunderbolt and scepter. RIC IV 258a; RSC 279. Lovely strike on a nice broad medallic flan. Choice EF. Lightly toned.
