SELEKUID KINGS. Seleukos I. 312-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.92 gm; 27 mm). Seleukeia on the Tigris mint. Struck circa 304/303 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / Zeus seated left, holding eagle and sceptre; monogram in left field, monogram under throne. Cf. Newell, ESM 12; Cf. Houghton 945. Choice Good VF. Lightly toned.
