ETRUSCANS. ca. 800-750 BC. Crystal Cylinder Seal (29 mm x 14 mm). Erotic scene of sexual intercourse between 2 men(?) while one is drinking from a container which might be wine. Intoxication by vine was extremely popular among the Etruscans leading to chaos as well as extreme violence in various festivities. Ex. Eldert Bontekeo Collection. Extremely Rare. Excellent condition.
