Description
BABAYLONIA, Ca. 1900 to 1600 BC. Small Cylinder Seal (15mm x 10 mm). Babylonian script followed by a figure holding a captured bird in front of grain pyramid with a sacrificial lamb or goat at the top of the pyramid in front of the temple. Temple is identified with open wing (winged disk) over a structure which was traditionally made out of bamboo. Ex. Eldert Bontekeo Collection. Very Rare. Excellent condition.
