THRACE, Dynasts of Koson. mid to early 1st century BC. Gold Stater (8.46 gm; 20 mm). Dacian mint, Roman consul accompanied by two lictors, monogram to left, KOSON in exergue / Eagle standing left on scepter, holding wreath. BMC Thrace 1; RPC I 1701. Sharply struck on a nice full flan. Well centered. Choice FDC. Fully lustrous.
