Hadrian. A.D. 117-138. Æ sestertius (33 mm, 29.17 g, 6 h). Rome, A.D. 128-ca. 129. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P P, laureate head of Hadrian right / HILA-RI-TAS PR COS III, S C across field, Hilaritas standing facing, head left, holding long palm branch and cornucopiae; at her sides, a male and a female child grasping her palm and her dress respectively. RIC 988. Attractive, well centered portrait of Hadrian. Dark green and olive brown patina, fields a little smoothed. . Good very fine.
