Description
ARAB-SASANIAN. Year 80. Æ pashiz (2.56 gm; 15 mm). Obverse: Sasanian style bust turning right, GDH (xvarrah) behind the head, name “ky’n” or “Gyl’n” in front of the face, reverse: year 80 on the left of altar, mint: Tabaristan to the right of altar, Extremely rare and one of the earliest issues of Tabaristan series, Gyselen type 46b. Well struck on a nice full compact flan. Nicely centered. Original find brown-green patina. Choice Good VF.
