An excellent Maya cylinder jar from El Salvador, c. 400 – 800 AD. It is 6” in diameter and is decorated with red ball court symbols painted between registers of jagged geometric elements. The rim and base are painted red. Intact, with strong mineral deposits and root marks. Ex Tribal Treasures Gallery. Value range: $800 - $1000
