Description
SASANIAN KINGS or KUSHANO-SASANIAN, (302-379 /420-438 AD) Æ (2.16 gm; 15 mm). Bahram (Varhran V)? or Shapur II(?), special issue, obverse, kings portrait with Kushano-Sasanian rams crown, reverse, sasanian style fire altar with attendants. There are extremely rare issues of Yazdgird I silver drachm with Bahram V with similar ram horn crown on the reverse. There are also Shapur II Æ units with similar crown indicating the assimilation of Kushan Empire. Choice Good VF. Original find patina. Extremely rare.
