KINGS of PARTHIA. Mithradates II. 121-91 BC. Æ Chalkous (2.11 gm; 14 mm). Susa mint. Struck circa 96/5-93/2 BC. Bust left, wearing tiara type vi; torque ends in double pellet / Nike advancing right, holding palm and wreath. Sellwood 28.22 var. (tiara type vii); Sunrise –; Shore 108. Lovely elegant style. Sharply struck on a nice full flan. Choice EF. Nice original green and earthen patina.
