Description
ARAB-SASANIAN, Gyselen Type 80. Æ (0.92 gm; 23 mm). Obverse, two Byzantine style figures, facing forward, with crowns topped with cross, phrase "Lillah" in between them in Kufic or "SP" in Pahlavi, letters and symbols to the left and right worn out and not legible, reverse, attandant on the left, in place of fire altar, phrase in Pahlavi "Gyanbud" and with two line of ilegible legends to the right, Gyselen Type 80. Nice brown patina with some original deposit. Choice aEF. Very Rare.
