ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ [Ν]ΙΚΗΦΟΡΟΥ ΑΝΤΙΑΛΚΙΔ[ΟΥ], helmeted and draped bust of Antialkidas right / Two upright palm branches between the caps of the Dioskouroi; below, monogram. Bopearachichi -; SNG ANS -; HGC 12, -. Seemingly unique. Black patina, slight roughness. Very fine.
Square bronzes of the same size and weight with this reverse type but with the bust of Zeus on the obverse exist for Antialkidas, and are in fact quite common. This type, with the king's helmeted bust in place of that of Zeus, appears to be unpublished and unique.
