Lot 448.  Hadrian. A.D. 117-138. AR denarius (19 mm, 2.71 g, 6 h). Rome, ca. A.D. 132-135. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, bare-headed and draped bust of Hadrian right / CLEMENTIA AVG COS III P P, Clementia standing facing, head left, holding patera and scepter. Cf. RIC II 206 (bust); BMC 537; RSC 218b. Planchet flaw below chin, small bump on brow. Very fine.
