Lot 129.  PARTHIAN EMPIRE. Mithradates III. Circa 87-79 BC. Silver Drachm (4.08 gm; 20 mm). Diademed and draped bust left, wearing tiara with ear flap, long beard, and torque ending in pellet; eight-rayed star on tiara; all within pelleted border / Archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow. Sellwood 31.6 (Orodes I); Shore 123-124; Sunrise 301. Sharply struck. Minor hairline scratches (hardly visible). Fleur de Coin.
