Lot 236.  Aelius. Caesar, A.D. 136-138. Æ sestertius (32 mm, 22.29 g, 6 h). Rome, under Hadrian, A.D. 137. L AELIVS CAESAR, bare-headed and draped bust of Aelius right / TR PO[T] COS II, S C across field, Spes advancing left, holding flower and raising skirt. RIC 1055; BMC 1914-6. Brown patina. Nearly very fine.
