Lot 510.  India, Hindu rajas of Kashmir. Kshema Gupta with Didda Rani. ruled A.D. 950-958. Æ stater (18.5 mm, 5.69 g). Goddess Lakshmi seated facing, flanked by Nagari legends Di (for Didda) and Kshema / King standing sacrificing at altar, with Nagari legend Gu(pta) at right. MNI 172. Scarce.

An interesting coin, with the king's name Kshema Gupta along with his queen Didda. One of the few instances in Indian numismatics when the royal couple are mentioned on their coins.
