LUCANIA, Metapontion. Early-Mid 3rd Century BC. AR Nomos (7.12 gm; 20 mm). Head of Demeter facing slightly right, wearing wreath of barley ears / META, barley ear of seven grains with leaf to right; bucranium above leaf. SNG ANS 463-464; HN Italy 1584. Nice original find patina. Choice EF.
