Description

NORWAY. Kongsberg. Lot of three AR Medals. All 56mm. The three medals are all undated and unmarked as to issuer and to issue size and are each struck in .925 silver. All were struck after 1972 when Kongsberg adopted the Janiform king as it's coat-of-arms. Each medal featured the janiform king on the obverse, one has the emperor standing within a wreath, and two of the reverse show the Kongsberg Church and one shows the monograms of the Norwegian Kings inscribed on a stone. The three metals weigh a total of 266 grams, or nearly 8 ounces of silver. All as struck. Three (3) medals in lot.
