Probus. A.D. 276-282. Æ antoninianus (22 mm, 3.75 g, 6 h). Rome, A.D. 276/7. IMP C M AVR PROBVS AVG, PROVIDENTIA AVG, Providentia standing facing, head left, holding scepter over globe at feet to left, and cornucopiae; XXIA. RIC 726 (Siscia); Pink VI/1, p. 54. Perfectly centered with a great portrait. Subdued silvering overall. Just a hint of flatness on Providentia's skirt, otherwise choice extremely fine.
