SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Seleukos II Kallinikos. 246-226 BC. AR Tetradrachm (29mm - 17.14 g). Uncertain mint in Northern Syria or Mesopotamia. Diademed head right / Apollo standing left in relaxed attitude, resting left elbow on tall tripod, testing arrow held in right hand; monogram before. SC 724.1; WSM 990. EF, some light scratches behind bust, elegant style and quite attractive.
