ROMAN EMPIRE: Vespasian, AD 69-79, AE Dupondius (30.5mm, 13.7g). Lugdunum (Lyon) mint. Struck AD 77-78. Obverse: IMP CAES VESPASIANVS AVG COS VIII PP; Laureate head right, small globe at point of bust. Reverse: FIDES PVBLICA; Fides standing left, holding patera and cornucopia. RIC II 1210. Superb patina. Superb style with great strike on the portrait! XF.
