TIBEPIω KAICAP[I], bare head of Tiberius right / [Γ]AΔAPEΩ[N], turreted, veiled and draped bust of Tyche right; behind, date (L ЧB). Spijkerman 11; Rosenberger 15; SNG ANS 1291; RPC 4812. Sandy desert-green patina. Clear details. Fine.

A note from the collector: According to the Gospels, Gadara was the furthest west that Jesus traveled during his ministries. This coin would have been in circulation at the time that Jesus was preaching there.
